Creating a tight garage door seal will help keep out pest, water, and the the elements. We have replacement garage door bottom seal material, and garage door threshold kits. The garage door bottom seal material can be a do it yourself replacement install with no need to hire an expert for most jobs.

If your concrete is uneven, or if you have an unusual gap on your garage door you may want to consider getting a new garage door bottom seal, and a garage door threshold. The threshold is going to seal from the ground to the garage door, and the garage door bottom seal will meet the threshold closing off gaps (*depending on the severity of the gap). You can send us pictures of your door issue and we may be able to help you determine the best solution.

Our garage door seal replacement material is sold custom cut by the foot, we stock many styles, and most of our orders ships out same business day. Rubber and Vinyl weather seal material is available in Double T-End, Bead End, P-End and T-Bulb which fits a double or single bottom seal retainer. The Clopay garage door bottom seal fits a single channel retainer, and fits many Clopay Garage Doors. The Wayne Dalton Seal seal has a P End connector to fit Wayne Dalton garage doors.

If you have an old discontinued weather seal, we offer complete Rubber Seal Kits which includes everything you need to replace the bottom of the garage door including channels, rubber seal and fasteners.

Most of our bottom seals slide into the current retainer on the garage door. To determine what type of retainer you have simply pull out a corner of your bottom seal to expose the retainer. Most standard retainers are a double or single channel. If you have a double channel you'll want to see if it's shaped like a T, or if it has an oval shape or round shape which should fit a Bead or P End bottom seal.

Our most popular seller is the Rubber Seal in a 3" Wide T End will fit in a double bottom seal retainer. The T Ends create a U shape once installed into the retainer, so the 3" Wide Seal will hang down approximately 1-1/2" once installed (depending on the width of the garage door).

Rubber seals are made of durable black EPDM synthetic rubber, and is more durable and and flexible than vinyl, and withstands extreme weather temperatures ranging from -50 to 350 degrees. Garage Door Thresholds | Garage Door Seals (3)The garage door threshold adheres to the concrete where the garage door meets the ground, creating a tight seal for your garage door. With our garage door threshold kits you can create a better garage seal, which is the first step to make your door more energy efficient, in addition to helping keep out driven rain, excess water, pest, dust and pollen. The garage door threshold creates a seal that blocks out the elements by closing the gap between the door and the floor. The tight seal keeps the inside of your garage clean despite the outside weather. Our garage door threshold kits are easy to install, and come complete with threshold, adhesive, and instructions. We offer 3 threshold brands, the Xtreme Weather Guard Threshold, the Storm Shield Threshold, and Tsunami Garage Door Threshold. Products are in stock, ship out same day or by next business day. .

Close of gaps and get a tight seal on your garage door by installing a garage door threshold kit. The Threshold Kits are easy to install, and come complete with threshold, adhesive, and instructions. The threshold is adhered to the floor where the garage door comes down. If you have an uneven floor that causes larger gaps in different areas of the door, you can offset the threshold installation so that the peak of the threshold meets the door at the high gap areas and the smaller gaps line up with the narrow part of the threshold.

Most threshold installations are installed with the hump on the inside of the door, so that the ramp part of the threshold is outside the door. During heavy rain the water will run down the door and away from the garage because of the threshold. Not all installs are equal, if you lay out the threshold and installing it with the hump just inside the door doesn't fix your problem, then you can install the threshold where the door comes down centered on the hump, or with the hump on the outside of the garage door. You should be able to determine the best install once you lay the threshold down before applying adhesive.

Question: Is there any extra material or are the measurements exact?

Answer: We custom cut all of our kits in each brand, you will receive an extra 2", so a 9' kit will be 9'2", and so on, however the 100' rolls comes in 100'. If you order a custom length in the garage door thresholds we cut a little extra material regardless of brand.

Question: What if I need a size that isn't available in the standard kits?

Answer: If you need more than 20', look for our custom cut by the foot for each brand of garage door threshold. If you need less than 20', ie: 14' then buy the next kit size up and trim it down.

Question: Are the thresholds easy to cut?

Answer:Yes, you can use a sharp blade to trim the threshold material - a sharp box cutter works well.

Question:If I have two 10' doors, can I buy a 20' kit and cut it in half?

Answer: Yes, the 20' kit will be 20'2", you can cut the 20' kit in 1/2 to make two 10' sections.

Question: How long does it take to ship?

Answer: We stock all three brands in our warehouse and ship from our Corpus Christi, Texas location. If the order is received by 12 pm central time Monday - Friday it will generally ship that day, otherwise it should ship the next business day. Occasionally we are out of stock, this may delay shipment by a couple of days. Most of our kit size orders will ship Priority Mail, so depending on location should be looking at a 2-3 Day Delivery.
