Scope and Contents Note From the Collection: This collection consists of nine series, which give a background of how the Centennial Celebration was planned and promoted. More specifically, there are invitations and fliers about events, congratulatory greetings from the U.S. government, corporations, and other universities, as well as memorabilia given out at events. Series VI and Series VII give an insight into how the Centennial Celebration Director and Specialist planned events that lead up to and included the Centennial Celebration.
