In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, The Depths are filled with mysteries that expand the Zelda universe significantly. There are various quests to tackle in this eerie underworld, including the Master Kohga of the Yiga Clan questline. To complete it, you'll need to track down and defeat Master Kohga in four different abandoned mines scattered throughout Hyrule's dark and creepy depths.

To reach the various mines, you can typically jump into a nearby Chasm and follow the large stone statues. However, when attempting to get to the Abandoned Hebra Mine, you'll eventually encounter a fallen statue buried in the wall, blocking your path and making it impossible to continue.

The fallen statue has caused a lot of confusion in the past and still does for new players. You can't just move it with your Ultrahand or your Recall ability, nor by using bombs or other items. And don't even think that the Zonai Wing lying next to the statue has anything to do with the riddle – it doesn't!

Another reason why so many players are struggling with this puzzle is because of a false assumption. While it's true that the Depths are a reflection of Hyrule's surface, that doesn't mean that every open path on the surface is also an open path in the Depths.

That clarified, the solution to the fallen statue riddle lies on the surface. There, you have to find a certain Chasm that will take you right into the heart of the Abandoned Hebra Mine.

The aforementioned Chasm is hidden near Rito Village in the northwest of Hyrule. Get to the point marked on the map in the screenshot above.

You'll spot a campfire and a guy right next to it who will tell you that there is a hidden Chasm nearby.

And indeed, it's right beneath your feet. All you need to do is climb down the stone wall until you come to a small entrance that will lead you straight to the Chasm you've been looking for.

The Role of Master Kohga & Yiga Clan in the Zelda Universe

The Yiga Clan is a group of rogue Sheikah who have turned their backs on the kingdom of Hyrule. One objective of the group is to eliminate Link as he poses a significant threat to the Yiga.

The leader of the Yiga Clan, Master Kohga, is a boss enemy characterized by his humorous nature and use of powerful, illusion-based attacks. Master Kohga was already present in Breath of the Wild; in Tears of the Kingdom, you'll face him several times during your journey.
